Ygnacio has worked in public accounting for more than 40 years and has been providing litigation support services as an expert witness for more than 25. He has an active accounting practice providing income tax, financial statement preparation, and business consulting services to a wide range of clients. He has been retained in over 600 cases providing litigation support services. He also has extensive experience working on a wide range of litigation matters, testified in federal and state courts and has worked for both plaintiffs and defendants, worked on cases requiring a wide range of damage calculations, and provided litigation support services in the following types of matters:
lost profits resulting from a variety of torts, personal injury, wrongful death/termination, divorce, misappropriation of corporate opportunity, business valuation, estate and trust issues, and oil & gas disputes.
Garza is a member of the Texas State Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), Collegium of Pecuniary Damages Experts, American Academy of Economic and Financial Experts, National Association of Forensic Economics, and National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst. He is also involved in a variety of civic activities including: Chairman of the Board of International Bank of Commerce Brownsville and a Board Member of Audubon Texas.
