Tom’s greatest strength is his abilities to deeply understand his clients’ needs and business realities and to provide personalized recommendations. Tom’s accounting career, which spans nearly 40 years, has been focused on consulting with governments, professional service firms (namely other CPA firms and attorneys), and service firms regarding the implementation of computer technology. In addition to consulting, Tom provides accounting, auditing, and tax services. Tom also develops and presents training programs for accounting software and hardware vendors.
Tom is a recognized IT business consultant both regionally and nationally. A Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP), Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA). He regularly contributes articles to several national publications, including Accounting Today, Accounting Technology, Tax Practice Management, and CPA Software News.
Tom was named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting” by Accounting Today magazine in 2001 and 2002 and by CPA Magazine in 2006. He was also recognized as one of the “Top 10 Computer Technology Experts in the Accounting Firm Field” by Accounting Technology magazine in 1998.
