Matt has the uncanny ability to provide innovative solutions, meet every deadline, and ensure that everyone around him feels that he or she is the most important person (or, in this case, auditing client). He leverages more than 25 years of experience in public accounting and is responsible for financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for nonprofit organizations, captive insurance companies, as well as privately held clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries. As a member of the firm’s nonprofit audit and assurance team, Matt offers expertise handling audits for trade associations and other nonprofits, including single audits in accordance with the Uniform Guidance.
Matt is a member of the CRI Quality Control Committee and serves as an instructor for CRI’s annual CPE week training for the Nonprofit Update class. Matt serves on the advisory council for the School of Accountancy at Georgia State University and as an active member of the Georgia Captive Insurance Association and the Georgia Society of Association Executives (GSAE). He was also awarded the Corporate Member of the Year Award in GSAE in 2013.
