Ken leverages his specialized knowledge of tax issues related to governmental organizations, as well as low-income housing, historic, rehabilitation tax credits, and related cost certification audits. He specializes in tax consulting and compliance in the areas of federal and state, historic, low-income housing, and new market tax credits. He has extensive experience in Louisiana tax incentive programs, including Enterprise Zone, Restoration Tax Abatement, and Industrial Tax Exemption programs. Ken works with clients in the greater New Orleans area in tax compliance and structuring of real estate transactions through equity and debt financing, as well as utilizing tax credits. Ken’s passion is in assisting clients with challenges in this ever-changing legislative and regulatory environment.
Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), in which he serves on the AICPA Joint Trial Board and as an AICPA Virtual Grassroots (formerly G100) panel member. He is a member of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants (LCPA) and serves on the LCPA Louisiana Economic Development Tax Credit working group. He is also very involved with the University of New Orleans (UNO) accounting department as a chairman of the UNO Accounting Advisory Committee.
