Chad is a seasoned CPA that believes in educating his fellow accountants. He has developed and presented several continuing education seminars to members of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) on accounting for deferred gifts by not-for-profit organizations, proper recording of non-cash gifts in Form 990, implementation of the new reporting rules for Form 990, and changes in the information gathering systems of non-profits to comply with Form 990 disclosure rules. Chad has also served on the FICPA’s Committee on Quality Review Acceptance, Committee on Restructuring Professional Standards, and Committee on Quality Review.
With more than 30 years of experience in the practice of public accounting, Chad focuses on a variety of not-for-profit, healthcare, fundraising foundations, commercial, HUD subsidized housing, and franchise sales clients in the Tampa Bay area. He has extensive experience in not-for-profit accounting, audit, and taxations issues. He also has significant experience in Federal Uniform Guidance Single Audit compliance issues as well as those for the state of Florida.
Chad is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
