CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – After 45+ years of service operating as Flusche, Van Beveren, Kilgore, PC (FVBK), the firm has merged with top 20 CPA and advisory firm Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC (CRI). The FVBK team joins CRI’s existing Corpus Christi office and the firm’s more than 1,800 CRI professionals currently serving clients across the Southern U.S.
FVBK works with businesses and individuals to provide tax, accounting, and advisory services. The firm delivers specialty services—notably including business interruption claims assistance following Hurricane Harvey’s recent visit to the City in August. FVBK’s industry specialties include real estate, oil and gas, agriculture, and nonprofits.
“By joining CRI, we significantly expanded our depth of services and are able to access additional capabilities and resources to further benefit our clients,” said Pam Stenger, a partner at FVBK. “We are thrilled that we can now offer specialty services such as cybersecurity risk assessments and cost segregation studies.”
CRI has been labeled one of the fastest growing accounting firms in the country. The firm operates from offices in 27 markets across nine states throughout the South, including 10 offices throughout Texas.
“History has been proven that Texas will thrive regardless of the challenges it faces, and we are confident that Hurricane Harvey will once again showcase this community’s resiliency,” said Bill Carr, CRI’s chairman and managing partner. “We are excited to welcome the talented team of professionals at FVBK, and we intend to continue investing and growing here together.”
In addition to accounting information and financial tools, CRI has resources available for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey on its website at www.CRIcpa.com.
