The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) recently issued the Exposure Draft, Revenue from Contracts with Customers. This Draft guides contractors' recognition of revenue. FASB may further update these guidelines, and an implementation timeline has not yet been identified. In the interim, CRI recommends contractors review these updates and develop an implementation plan with the help of a trusted construction advisor.
