Carr, Riggs & Ingram (CRI) Grows Again
Hoyman Dobson Merges with CRI in Central Florida Market

ENTERPRISE, AL - (November 9, 2011) – Hoyman Dobson CPAs has
merged with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC (CRI), the third largest accounting firm
in the South. The Melbourne office will now operate under the name of Carr,
Riggs & Ingram. This team unites with CRI’s current partners and staff in Winter
Park, Florida, to form one of the largest accounting services providers in the
Central Florida market.
Hoyman Dobson CPAs retains its current personnel and commitment to the Central
Florida community while benefiting from the expertise of a regional accounting
firm that delivers services to more than 45,000 clients across the South. The
team will continue its 45-year track record of transforming the goals of dynamic
individuals and organizations into reality.
“Becoming a part of a regional accounting firm benefits our clients, staff, and
community,” states
Charles
“Chas” Hoyman, managing director of Hoyman Dobson CPAs. “Our clients will
have access to the depth and breadth of accounting expertise of more than 650
CRI professionals, and our team members will enjoy additional technical and
business leadership training opportunities—as well as specialized career paths.”
Currently ranked as the 32nd largest accounting firm nationally, CRI is on the
move having now announced three mergers in various Southern states within the
last two months. The now 28 current CRI offices are located throughout Alabama,
Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas.
“CRI’s merger with Hoyman Dobson CPAs just makes sense,” according to
William
H. Carr, chairman and managing partner of CRI. “CRI is already one of the
most widely accessible accounting resources in the state of Florida with offices
throughout the Panhandle and Northeast, and this move enhances CRI’s depth of
expertise in Central Florida. Additionally, the Hoyman team brings an expanded
level of technical expertise—specifically in the governmental contracting
consulting arena—that strengthens CRI’s service areas not only throughout
Florida, but also our entire Southern footprint.”
CRI’s diverse industry specializations include construction companies,
governmental entities, financial institutions, healthcare entities,
not-for-profit organizations, and manufacturing and distribution companies. For
