Carr, Riggs & Ingram Team Certified in EVMS Compliance
Additional Services Available to Government
Contractors
Niceville, FL - May 26, 2010 -
D. Timothy
Herndon, CPA, and Denise R. Fitzpatrick, both of CRI's
Niceville and
Crestview
offices, recently completed an intensive training course in Earned Value
Management System (EVMS) Compliance.
The United States Government now requires all contracts
over $20 million in total value to manage and report their projects in full
compliance with the government's Earned Value Management System process. By
completing this course, CRI professionals are now able to assist clients in the
development and implementation of EVMS compliance strategies, including the
creation of process documents to meet the required 32 guidelines.
"With over 50 current contractor clients and current
available services ranging from
ICE report consulting to
DCAA audit support, our
Niceville team viewed this certification as an opportunity to provide an even
wider breadth of services and increased value to our contractor clients," stated
Niceville Partner-in-Charge D. Timothy Herndon. "While this requirement is not
obligatory until a company has a contract with earnings of $20 million, many
businesses with contracts above $5 million may choose to benefit by proactively
utilizing Earned Value Management techniques under the coaching of our team."
